  • Individuals interested in complementary and
    integrative medicine

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English and in word format.
     

  2. Text must be typewritten in Times New Roman, font size min 12.
     

  3. There are 2 categories of submission:

    • Original Article

    • Case Report
       

  4. At least ONE author must register to the main congress once the abstract is accepted.
     

  5. Maximum of 2 abstracts is allowed to be submitted by the participant.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE (ABSTRACT GUIDELINE)

  1. The abstract of this category should be based on a study or research conducted.
     

  2. The abstract should be written in standard format:

    - Title
    - Authors & Affiliation
    - Introduction
    - Methodology
    - Results
    - Conclusion

     

  3. Number of words should not exceed 500 words.

CASE REPORT (ABSTRACT GUIDELINE)

  1. The abstract of this category should be based on interesting cases or disease.
     

  2. The abstract should be written in standard format:

    - Title
    - Authors & Affiliation
    - Introduction
    - Case Presentation
    - Discussion
    - Conclusion

     

  3. Number of words should not exceed 250 words.
     

Poster Guidelines

  1. The poster will be displayed  at the Congress from 1st and 2nd August 2026.
     

  2. All successful delegates who have had their abstracts accepted for poster should present their printed poster in the display area on 1st August 2026
     

  3. An example of an Poster template is available for download.

A. POSTER SIZE AND FORMAT GUIDELINE

  1. Poster should be composed in vertical format (9:16 ratio).
     

  2. Poster should consist of ONE page only.
     

  3. Text and presentation should be in English only.
     

  4. The content of the Poster should consist of the following details:

    - Abstract number (e.g., A-0001) on the top left corner of your Poster.
    - Title of the Poster – Should be brief and is in accordance with the title of the abstract submitted.
    - Photo should be placed on the upper right corner.
    - Names and affiliations of all authors.

     

  5. ​Arial font should be used throughout the Poster with such clarity that it could be read clearly.
     

  6. The title and subheadings should be written in bold. Recommended to avoid italics as it would be harder to read.

ILLUSTRATIONS AND USAGE OF COLORS IN POSTER

  1. Illustrations are the most important part of the Poster and will attract the most attention. Colourful charts and graphs are the easiest to read. Explanatory illustrations should be used instead of text whenever possible
     

  2. Use only static images and do not embed any videos or animation in your Poster.
     

  3. Try to utilize the space on your Poster as creatively as you can to attract the audience and make sure that the images are easy to understand.
     

  4. Please be considerate when using colours for the presentation, keep only 2-3 colours as this would be a formal scientific poster presentation. Please select background colours that contrast well with the font to allow easier reading of your text. Avoid background with bright or dark colour and full of texture as this will distract readers.
     

  5. Make sure that any photographs or figures being used in the Poster are with sufficient size so that they are clearly visible. The number of photographs should be limited to only those that are essential and relevant for the Poster (preferable not exceeding 4-6 photos).
     

  6. Do not submit any photographs or pictures that are not relevant to the text, such as cartoon characters, etc.
     

  7. Graphs and tables should be well organized, and the font used should be of a size that is easy to read.
