AI in Healthcare
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping healthcare systems worldwide, advancing diagnostics, strengthening clinical workflows, and enabling more personalised, predictive models of care. Malaysia is entering a pivotal phase, with government, academia, and industry signalling readiness to integrate AI into healthcare. However, sustainable and equitable adoption depends on the strength of digital foundations and clinician leadership.
Readiness for AI is determined by the maturity of the underlying digital infrastructure. Digitalisation is the foundation of modern healthcare systems. Electronic medical records, interoperable platforms, telehealth services, and secure data governance are essential prerequisites for the safe, effective, and meaningful application of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
This conference is purposefully designed to advance AI adoption in healthcare by:

The Malaysian Medical Association, through its AI & Digital Health Committee, is uniquely positioned to lead this national conversation. This inaugural conference aims to position MMA as the integrator and leading champion for responsible, ethical, and patient‑centred AI adoption in Malaysia.
